Yes, that's a dollar sign. If you want to realize more profit from your next home sale, consider a pre-listing (if you're using a Realtor) or a pre-sales inspection if you're selling it yourself. You need to know what kind of condition your home is in BEFORE you put it on the market. Finding out that your home is unsellable at any where near the asking price in the middle of a real estate transaction is bad timing at it's worse. It's a stressful time anyway and some repairs take more time than you have to accomplish before your closing window closes and your buyer has moved on to other property.
